    Hello. I got a new laptop Dell Intel vPRO and the audio was fine for a week but when lately during meetings I've been told that when I talk, my voice cuts in and out. It's frustrating and annoying because I am on a lot of kickoff calls with clients. Please help!

    I've tried every step that was suggested, still getting no audio output device installed.

    output volume

    My suggestion: Get a meter that measures the actual volume being output. Make note of what percentage on the Windows volume control corresponds to what actual physical volume as measured by the meter. Make a list of several places along the way, maybe every 5 or 10 percent and what that corresponds with in real life.

    To check for possible cause of the issue, we suggest that you run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. To do so, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key.
    • Type Troubleshooting.
    • Click Hardware and Sound.
    • Click Hardware and Devices.
    • Follow the on-screen troubleshooting.
    If the issue persists, you may download the updated driver from your device manufacturer.
