Windows 10: My P key makes a beep sound when pressed.

Everytime the 'P' key is pressed it beeps and when on file explorer pressing P selects pictures folder. Hardware troubleshooting says nothing needs troubleshooting. The 'P' still inputs just makes an annoying sound while doing so.

My laptop & a previous laptop too... when a key press makes a beep sound, usually means the keyboard is going to die soon & will make a heck of a noise one day when it tries too boot and freezes eventually.

Maybe try another keyboard and see if that beep goes away ?

I suggest you to run hardware troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue. It will automatically detect the problem and fix it.

  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.

  Click on Small icon on the left navigation pane.

Let’s try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and check if this helps.

  Right click on the driver and uninstall it.
  
• Once you are done uninstalling the driver restart he computer. It will automatically reinstall the keyboard generic driver.

I'm pretty sure its conflicting with another action but I don't know how to fix it. When it's pressed, a beep sound is played. When in file explorer, it cycles through icons.
