Windows 10: My password doesnt work in advanced start up comand propt

So i wanna turn on secure boot, and i watched LTT and they have gone to command propt and typed some cmds, so i wanted to try and then it said choose an account. i choosed my account only 1 on pc and typed my email password,so it didnt work. i tried reseting it and making new password, it didnt work, so pls help me :/

an error occurred while running comand propt

My windows store was not opening and i try to fix it by typing a command in command propt as suggested by someone, but an error occurred in the process and the windows store and some other apps stopped working completely. all the microsoft apps has been renamed as "@{microsoft.windows.calculator_XXX....}". please help me..

 

laptop doesnt boot automatically

This is what happened.

1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

Windows advanced start-up demanding a password, not working

I had a similar issue and it was related to RTX4090 not working well with the latest update. If you are running an RTX you may try running onboard graphics if your CPU offers such a feature or another GPU if you have one. Additionally you can also attempt an advanced restart and try to uninstall the latest update using the option. If you can manage to get in the steps below show how you can remove the password VIA Reg Edit.

Step 1: Press the Windows key on your keyboard, type Registry Editor, and click on Run as administrator.

Step 2: Enter the following path in the address bar and press Enter.

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Step 3: In the right panel, right-click on the DefaultUserName string and select Modify.

Note: If you didn’t find one, you would have to create one manually by right-clicking on the blank area > selecting New > clicking String Value > naming the string as DefaultUserName > double-clicking on it > choosing Modify.

Step 4: In the Value data section, type the username of the account and click on OK.

Step 5: Create another string (using the method mentioned above) and name it DefaultPassword.

Step 6: Double-click on DefaultPassword, enter the account password in the Value data field, and click on OK.

Step 7: Navigate to the AutoAdminLogon string (create it if you can’t find it). Right-click and click on Modify.

Step 8: Now, change the Value data from 0 to 1 and click OK.
