Windows 10: My PC automatically restart after few minutes on sleep mode.

I have just updated from windows 10 to windows 11 and I've facing a problem that every time when I press the power button to put my laptop on the sleep mode after few minutes, the system automatically restart. Please help me.

Desktop will not automatically enter sleep mode

I've changed power settings (included the advanced settings) to allow sleep to automatically occur after 10 minutes, but the computer doesn't go into sleep mode. It previously went to sleep automatically, but apparently some automatic system updates have
changed that feature. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Pc restart after exiting sleep mode

well if it works within 5min, sounds like it could be losing power

'restarts after exiting sleep mode' do you mean it acts like a fresh cold boot? or you see the windows logging off screens, then it restarts?

i never use sleep or hibernate, risk of losing the session & waste of hard drive space

My name is Mohammed Shuaib, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to assist you with the issue of PC wakes up automatically from Sleep mode. Please follow the below to fix the issue.

Fix #1

Step 1:

Go to the search box next to the windows icon and type Edit Power Plan

Step 2:

Then click on Change advanced power settings

Step 3:

Expand Sleep and then expand Allow wake timers

Step 4:

Set Disabled for both On battery and Plugged in.

Step 5:

Click/tap on Apply and then press OK.

Step 6:

Restart the PC

Let me know the status after performing the above.
