Windows 10: My Pc automaticly boot into the windows recovery environement, but from there I can start...

I Recently buy a HP Omen 16 2023 laptop, and I changed the 1To SSD for a 4To SSD, and for keeping everything I copied the system using Macrium Reflect.It works perfectly, but everytime I lanch the pc it enter the recovery environement. I put W11 as the default start os, I put the minimum time of 5 seconds to select it automaticly, so it enter windows 11 automaticly, but the start of the pc is way longer. I don't know how to fix that and in the bios the only option that I have when I select it launch me automaticly to the windows recovery environement.Thanks for reading me.

Since you mentioned that you can get to the recovery options, start the PC in safe mode to perform the suggestions previously posted.

Hi Sreenivas,

Your issue is usually caused by incorrect configuration of the Boot Loader.

As a workaround, follow the steps below:

• First, restart your PC or laptop.
• After restarting you see the Grub menu.
• In the Advanced Options menu you will see an entry Recovery Menu that you need to select.
• Carefully select the grub – Update grub boot loader option.
• It will automatically add an entry for Windows 10 to the boot menu.

If the steps won't resolve the issue, we strongly advised to reach out with Ubuntu support. Otherwise, revert back to single boot system.
