    My PC broke when I added 2 additionsl RAM sticks. I am in a huge need of help.


    First of all, my hardware. My PC has a GTX 1060 6GB DUAL OC GPU, AMD R5 2600X, CORSAIR VENGANCE LPX 4x8GB 3200Mhz RAM, some old drives and that's about it. I posted on r/buildapc and they told me removing my new RAM and inserting them one by one to see which one might be at fault here. But when I removed both of the new ones and the same thing was still going on. I also wonder if it could somehow be my drives as they are quite old.

    2 Ram Sticks

    A PC will not boot without the ATX 12V. Your seeing the fans spinning. Its not a boot as you described no image on monitor.

    Also you need to list ALL you hardware.

    Its ether bad ram, bad slot or bad PSU

    Run Memtest *Bang Head :banghead:

    Windows 10 Upgrade
    According to this list, your PC isn't on Acer's approved list for Win 10. Could you check that?

    This is an older PC which came with Win 7. Have you ever clean installed Win 10 on it?

    • AMD Athlon II X2 255 Dual Core Processor
    • Windows 7 Professional
    • 2GB DDR3 RAM
    • 320GB HDD
    • DVD Rewriter
    • Integrated Graphics
    • PS.VB1E3.082

    We can only proceed step by step.

    So chkdsk and SFC /Scannow are ok. But any attempt to reset your PC or run DISM fails.

    Is this what you tried? I'm not 100% clear what the above means. Clean install or this procedure?

    If you tried this, it's possible it failed as you need (it seems) some 500Mb of unallocated space on your hard disk.
