Windows 10: My PC can't connect to adsl modem via LAN

Discus and support My PC can't connect to adsl modem via LAN in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Hello, I have a problem in my pc which I didn't have this problem 1 year ago.     Hello,

    I have a problem in my pc which I didn't have this problem 1 year ago. This problem is like very annoying I've done all of the ways to fix it but it didn't work cmd commands, updating drives


    All of the adsl modem lights turns on when I turn the modem on BUT when windows starts to popup my LAN light turns off quickly !! But after like 15 minutes it turn On again and pc connects to internet BUT with very slow speed!! like 5/10KB/s

    Does my pc have a virus or something??

    I scanned my pc with Malwarebytes software and there were some suspicious files which I deleted them but the problem is not fixed.


    Do I have to reinstall windows? Pls help me

    Connect a NBN modem to a ADSL modem router

    At present I am connected to ADSL using a Modem+router in one box, I can access the box's configuration using 192.168.x.y address. This box has 4 LAN ports for me fan out to my devices. There are no other ports, such as WAN port or the like.

    I want to in the future, use a NEW modem ( one box ) which has a Ethernet output ONLY which can connect to a switch/router's WAN/Internet port. There are no LAN ports on this modem for me to fan out to my devices. So, I am hoping not having to buy a new switch router, but to connect my existing ADSL modem integrated switch router to the new modem, is this possible?

    I hope I have explained this configuration correctly.

    I am thinking of converting to NBN service in Australia. However, my setup at the moment is single box ADSL modem with a switching router, which I connect my equipment to its LAN ports.

    With the new NBN standalone modem, how do I connect to the existing switch router mentioned above ? Or I must buy a new switch router with a WAN port to connect to the NBN standalone modem.

    Any advise will be appreciated.

    There should be plenty of 4 port routers with wireless and built in modem. adsl is old is i adsl or adsl2+ in the uk these routers are thrown away of very cheap
