Windows 10: My PC constantly lags even though I have done what everyone says I should do

My CPU, Memory and Disk are always on high in task manager whenever I use my PC and it lags so much. For example it takes a while to open a new tab on chrome or if I want to search for something it also takes a while for the letters to appear. I have disabled start-up apps and background apps, changed my power mode settings, updated my drives, scanned for viruses you name it and nothing seems to be working. I will put my specs down bellow.Processor: Intel Core i3-9100 3.60GHzRam: 8gbStorage: 1tb System: Windows 64-bit

Random lag spikes

Hi,

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Windows lags constantly

Hi,

In that case, I suggest you follow the below to resolve the browser lagging issue.

Fix #1

Step 1

Right-click on the Windows icon and then select Run

Step 2

Type %temp% and press enter

Step 3:

Select all files and folders and press Shift +Del to permanently delete the temporary files.

Step 4:

Next go to C:\Windows\Temp and select all files and folders

Step 5:

Press Shift +Del to permanently delete the temporary files.

Fix #2

Right-click the Start button.

Click Search.

Type msconfig and hit Enter on your keyboard.

Click Services.

Click the checkbox next to Hide all Microsoft services.

Click Disable all.

Click Startup.

Click Open Task Manager.

Click any startup program you suspect might be interfering.

Click Disable. Repeat steps 9 and 10 for all startup programs.

Click the X to close Task Manager.

Click OK in the System Configuration window.

Restart your PC.

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??
