    My PC crashed playing Skyrim and now I can't get it to start back up.


    So I was playing Skyrim today and as I was creating my character, my screen started to glitch out and unexpectedly crashed my whole system. Now whenever I try turning it on, the it looks all glitchy and green, and when I booted it in safe mode, it worked, but it also looked glitched out. I tried resetting Windows but that didn't work either. Does anyone know what to do? I'm so concerned I'll have to ditch my current computer for a new one. Anyone has any tips on how to get my computer back up and running, I'd appreciate it.

    Skyrim.

    Whenever I start up Skyrim and press Continue It seems to crash on the loading screen, can anybody help me solve this issue?

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft community.

    As per the query, you would like to know whether or not the game is compatible with Windows 10.

    Lets install the game in compatibility mode and check.
    Refer the steps to install in compatibility mode:

    a. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties

    b. Select Compatibility Tab

    c. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list

    d. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.

    Also suggest you to refer the below suggestion by Zigzag3143 MVP on July-18-2015.

    Will I still be able to run games like Skyrim, Borderlands 2/prequel, Garry's mod and other major steam gaming titles on the new windows 10?
