Windows 10: My PC crashes when it's unplugged-- getting "Critical_Process_Died" error when unplugged

Hello,My laptop crashes every time it's unplugged within 5 minutes, leading to a blue screen that shows the critical process died. It works fine when plugged in through. I tried updating the drivers, restoring power settings to default, and checking for driver errors. But nothing works.Could you please help me understand what could be done to fix this?Thank you for taking the time to read this. NM

In order to resolve your concern, we suggest that you to follow these steps:

• If you've installed any new apps or devices, uninstall or unplug them and restart your PC.
• Make sure your PC has the latest updates:

• Go to the search box.
• Type Windows Update then Enter.
• Select Check for updates.
• In the Settings menu, select Check for updates button.
• When it's finished, restart your PC.

Why is everything so big if the monitor gets unplugged?

I haven't tried any of these suggestions, but the monitor coming unplugged happens when the computer is off. I walk past the computer a lot and there's really not a good way, if I step on the duct tape, to prevent the monitor from coming unplugged.

 

I am getting BSOD for VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR on unplugged startup

I am bit uncomfortable posting the dmp files as they may contain an excess of personal information. Can you advise me on how to analyze them?

I am running the other steps currently. I will post them in a few hours (bit busy tonight).

One notable factor, I specifically started up my laptop right now unplugged. After switching to the Gigabyte's "customized" RTX drivers, I did not get a crash at/near launch. Some of the related threads listed at the bottom the thread page noted that the "customized" driver sets can have these effects.
