Windows 10: My pc crashes whenever I load into a game or stress test my GPU

This problem randomly happened to me about 1.5 weeks ago after about a year of no problems. What happens is I load into the game and just before I can actually join I hear my fans all stop quickly and my screen goes black. About a second later my fans start up again and my computer starts up as if I had restarted it. To solve this I have already completely redownloaded windows, checked and made sure there were no missing drivers, run multiple diagnostic tests, and today I ran stress tests on my cpu and gpu. The cpu stress test prime95 was fine but when I ran my gpu stress test through furmar

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If you can play those games at the highest settings, then there is no physical issue with that GPU, and testing that card to extremes it is unnecessary.

The best option would be to ask this on their website, to see if they can provide any explanation of why their software is crashing your system, and if that graphics card is on the supported list for their software.

 

Windows 10 Stress Test Crash - CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

Hi All.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of upgrading my Windows 7 gaming and video editing machine to Windows 10. My upgrade went very smoothly and I now have a fully functional machine. Therefore, today I decided to stress test my computer to see how it performed
under extreme loads. In all I stressed the CPU, FPU, Cache, Memory(RAM) and GPU.

My system then crashed and displayed the following error: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. My machine then rebooted successfully and seems to be working well. An stated by the simple error report, I should search for CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED to gain more information.
However there is no record or information about this error on Windows 10, as of yet. I don't know if this error was caused by my system, Windows 10 or the stress testing software, but I hope some light could shone on the matter for myself and others.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0GHz - 8 Cores - Water Cooled

Motherboard - ASRock 970 Extreme4

Memory (RAM) - Kingston Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 @ 1333MHz

when GPU stressed PC crashes and reboots

Hi to give some clarification if i play basically any game it will crash or by using a stress test like furmark also there is no blue screen it just goes straight to a reboot with a blackscreen. When watching youtube while playing a very low intesity game like runescape it is fine.

Also I'm confident its not the card itself or drivers i have teated multiple cards in system and they all have same issue of the reboot.

The GPU driver is up to date if you go on nvidias website and manually search product type titan then you should see it. And no this card is new but since installing it want to be able to use since on the old display adapter i didn't bother trying.
