Windows 10: My pc crashes with GSOD often and it's very hard to get it to display to my monitors on...

Okay so the run down pretty much is that I recently bought my pc around 3 months ago prebuilt from PC Specialist, everything was fine for a while I got one new monitor to go with it and I use my old one too which had some issues. See my pc specs below: After a month I started getting GSOD only on my old monitor and my new monitor would just go black and my pc would crash and then reboot and I thought it was due to my faulty old monitor as the monitor cable would "crackle" and only work at a certain angle for a while so I finally got around to fixing that I purchased a new power cable and HDMI

And In Edge browser when I open 5-4 tabs with pressure (or even 1 youtube video)

it gets

• Out of memeory
  
• status acces violation
  

This should not occur as I have 12 gb ram

 

all games crash!

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

4870x2 won't display at 1680x1050 at all!

OK. Now I know what ur problem is. Step by step:
1. Go to Catalyst Control Center
2. Click on the word "Graphic" right on top left corner. It will display drop down menu
3. Click on Display monitor and will see the list of monitor at near bottom
4. Right Click the monitor and select "Configure". It will show up the window
5. There will be 3 option to select. Select the middle one and then click on the tab which show the bar with 15%.
6. Drag the bar to max, and the screen will stretch to the native resolution 1680x1050.
7. Also click the tab with showing RGB drop down list and select the last one (it will change to image quality for pc).
