Windows 10: My PC did not recognize my smartphone.

When I connected my phone through USB My window operating system 11 shows pop up That Usb device not recognized. The last usb device you connected To this computer malfunctioned and window does not recognize it. I tried all solution. but did not work. I update all the drivers. uninstalling drivers and reinstalling drivers. changing usb cables. And my pendrive mouse keyboard. and other usb device connected to my p.c. but only my phone and another phones did not connected on my PC. I installed my phone drivers on my PC, but didn't work for me.

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

Linley, the steps I outlined above were for a Motorola Q. I just took my "Q" and listed the steps as I went through the process. Are you not able to do that on your smartphone or do you have to edit after it is created?

 

How to mount an Android smartphone as a drive in Windows?

So some smartphones are mounted as.. I don't even know how to call it.. a device, see the screenshot below. The problem is this is no drive, so I can't go there in cmd (can I?) and do other stuff.

(particularly now I'd like to recover some files that were lost when I cut them on the smartphone, navigated to another folder on my PC and pasted there; I encounter this bug for the second time, although failed to make it reproducible; again, Recuva doesn't recognize the device, see the second screenshot)

My question is: can I mount such device as a drive? What is this situation and why some devices are mounted as drives while others are not?

(I've tried also to enable USB-debugging mode on the smartphone, but that didn't help, although when enabled, safe ejection is required)









PS for those interested, currently I use WebDAV server app for some operations like OscarAkaElvis suggested, but for now, it has the following drawbacks:

• drive letter mapping is to be done per WiFi network. That's a Windows problem, not sure if this can be simplified
  
• namely WebDAV server doesn't work for me in the password-protected mode
  
• some operations are slow: for instance, calling tree in cmd with output to a file for several tens of folders and 1.5K files tree took ~10 minutes
