Windows 10: My PC display won't turn back on after I'm away and the machine idles/screen turns off.

    My PC display won't turn back on after I'm away and the machine idles/screen turns off.


    This has happened consistently since updating my graphics card driver and it's very annoying to have to restart it every single time. I'm just guessing at the connection to the graphics driver; what can I do to fix this?PC name: Portal1System Model Alienware m17 R5 AMD System Type x64-based PC Processor AMD Ryzen 7 6800H with Radeon Graphics, 3201 Mhz, 8 Cores, 16 Logical Processors Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU

    Display does not turn off when pc is idle

    Just did all the suggestions. Did not work. Display does not turn off.

    This issue was from the beginning when I downloaded Win 10. I had Win 8.1 and the display always turned off as I set it.

    My pc is HP Pavilion Touchsmart 23 all-in-one. According to "checking for updated drivers on display and monitors", I always get the response that the drivers currently installed are the correct ones.

    you see I cant imagine it being the graphics card, also the pc screen makes a noise as it trys to turn on, as if its under stress
