Windows 10: My pc Doesnt Detect my PS4 controller USB

I've checked device manager and still nothing when i connect a usb wire it only charges but doesnt detect iti already tried to see if there were any outdated drivers and there weren't

PC not detecting PS4 controller

Hello, Today I tried playing Fifa 22 after a month of not playing it. In this month I restore=d my pc so all drivers probably were deleted. But when I try to connect my PS4 controller, or with bluetooth or with USB neither way it is working. The controller is not appearing somewhere in device's (manager) and I tried several things like, reinstalling bluetooth/usb drivers. I tried hard-resetting the controller and also tested it on my PS4 where it worked fine.

I looked up a lot of answers on internet but non of them worked. So I hope someone could help me out.

 

PC doesn't detect ps4 controller anymore, via USB

Just yesteday, I got a game on my PC that requires a ps4 controller. When I plugged it into a USB port, my system automatically detected it as a controller in the device manager section, as well as devices and printers.

I used the DS4 software, and everything seemed to be working perfectly fine.

But later that night, I was having problems with the software, to the point where I had to fiddle with a few things in the device manager section. I think I might've uninstalled/disabled something??

Also, that same night, I updated my computer, then turned it off.

Now when I connect my controller via USB, my computer doesn't detect it at all. No jingle, nothing in device manager or devices and printers, none of that. I've tried reinstalling the drivers using the DS4 software, used many different USB cables and ports.
Still, nothing at all. Just the little yellow light on my ps4 controller to show that it's charging.

I tried using an xbox one controller as well to see if that was the problem, but my computer didn't detect that either. My computer also doesn't support bluetooth, so I can't connect it like that either.

I've been scrolling through websites and videos on youtube to see if there was a way to fix this, but almost all of them said to go to the device manager and click on the controller, but it's not showing up anymore.

I'm just so confused right now

May I ask if you've made sure that both your PS4 controller drivers and your Windows are up to date? If they are all the latest version, have you tried:

1. Connecting your PS4 controller on another device to determine whether there is something wrong with the controller or not?

2. Connecting your controller with another USB cable?
