    My pc has a much slower and unstable internet connection than the rest of my devices.


    Whenever I run a speed test I get around 50-70 Mbps on my PC while everything else is on around 140-150, I have tried every troubleshooting method provided by Microsoft from cmd prompt commands, installing my drivers, updating them, disabling firewalls, moving my PC and router, I can't seem to find a solution, when I troubleshoot the network adapter I get the message "problem with the wireless adapter or access point" "fixed" every time, it could be my network adapter is just old and dying but I wanted to check before having to buy a new one.

    • i understand that PC suit allow to "Connect your PC to the web using your device", but i would like to use it the other way, coz connecting to the web from device is expensive. i just wanna update weather services and some podcast regularly to device using
      PC internet connection. i'm using nokia 6210.

    Unstable internet Connection

    For the last couple years i have had a very unstable internet connect. Goes out randomly for 20 to 30 minutes or couple hours or until i reset my cable modem(which is about 10 years old) and router. However, i have contacted my neighbors and when i dont have internet they do. I have also contacted my ISP about it when i lost it and they reported no problems in my area. Is this whole bad internet connect thing caused by my old old Cable Modem??



    I was going to order THIS tonight.

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
