Windows 10: My PC has become completely unusable.

So i've completely resetted my computer on January 27, 2023, and when the reset completes i complete the whole new computer setup guide. But when i am allowed access to my computer. it all of a sudden becomes completely unusable. The mouse barely moves it's like its lagging, i tried clicking on Microsoft Edge but it didnt even highlight the program instead it just froze i can't click on anything, so i tried restarting it and it didnt fix the problem, i tried the startup repair setting in the troubleshooting screen and it still didn't work. I don't know what else to do at this point. Can so

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

Let’s try to isolate the issue at this point, we suggest that you start your PC in safe mode with Networking. This is for us to identify if there are startup items that experiencing conflicts. Here are the steps:

• From Settings
  
  

• Type Settings in the Search box.
• Select Update & security > Recovery.
• Under Advanced startup, select Restart now.
• After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select
  Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings >
  Restart.
• After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start your PC in
  Safe Mode. Or if you'll need to use the Internet, select 5 or F5 for
  Safe Mode with Networking.

• From the sign-in screen
  
  

• Restart your PC. When you get to the sign-in screen, hold the Shift key down while you select
  Power icon > Restart.
• After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select
  Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings >
  Restart.
• After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4
  or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode. Or if you'll need to use the Internet, select
  5 or F5 for Safe Mode with
  Networking.

While on safe mode, check if you’ll be able to access already the
Command Prompt program to perform and run the DISM command as what was suggested on the initial response.
