    I have 16gbs of ram that it had been using to its full potential for a few years now but over the last few months its only been able to use 7-8 gbs of it which now causes alot of games to crash for me pc specs are:Motherboard: B550M I thinkCPU: ryzen 5500GPU: AMD rx 6600xtRAM: 16gbsPS: 550w I thinkwhen I first got my PC it was fine and used all 16gbs so idk why its decided to do this now.

    Half of RAM 'Hardware Reserved'

    I have 32GB of RAM installed and half is "hardware reserved" by Windows. I've tried every suggestion I can find, including moving the modules around to different slots. My MB does not have onboard graphics. Specs:
    • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AX370M-DS3H (BIOS on latest firmware)
    • CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X (upgraded from 1700x and it didn't help)
    • RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE® LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C16 Memory Kit
    • GPU: Nvidia RTX-2060 Super
    The BIOS, Windows, CPUZ and HWInfo all show 32GB installed and both slots used, but Windows says "Hardware Reserved: 16.1GB". This was occurring on Windows 10. I am currently running Windows 11 (beta channel) and it didn't help. I also upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 7 1700 with no change. Pics: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    - - - Updated - - - NTN, I did the hardware diagnostic you suggested by typing msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic in Run, but no issues were found. - - - Updated - - - I've downloaded the Gigabyte manual and will take a look at it. Thanks
