    My PC has MAJOR Wi-Fi slows randomly only on this device, and only on a specific user.


    About as simple as I put it in the title. In games for example I ping the server once every 50000 milliseconds sometimes and when in voice chats once every 5000 milliseconds. Webpages won't load as well. It only happens on this PC and only on this specific user I have more than one for some family members. I got tech support and they thought they fixed it after they remote-controlled my PC but they didn't and now I can't request tech support again without Microsoft 365. This is a repost again because my last post got abandoned after I received basically 0 help.

    Extremely slow Wi-Fi on my PC only?

    I just recently bought my PC a few days ago and ever since, the Wi-Fi has been terribly slow. I have really good Wi-Fi and I know it is just an issue with my PC because the Wi-Fi works fine on my phone, laptop, and smart T.V. This is also a good P.C. I
    can't even open google without it taking an hour. Sometimes the Wi-Fi will just randomly disconnect too. I need help. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    Slow wi-fi

    My laptop, with Windows 10, runs extremely slow on Wi-fi - about 15 Mbps. The warranty dept at Costco is suggesting running Windows 10 back to the factory default. Do you think this will help? I'm thinking it must be a hardware issue, specifically the
    network card?

    Windows 10 stop automatically connecting to random new wi-fi networks

    Hi,

    I have searched a lot, but all the tutorials I found only explained how to not connect automatically to a known wi-fi network or how to disable wi-fi sense... but this is not what I am looking for...

    PROBLEM:

    • When my laptop (Windows 10 Pro X64) is not connected to a network and the wireless adapter is on, it will automatically connect to any random new unsecured wi-fi network... The only way I have now to avoid this is to disable my wi-fi adapter.

    UNUSEFUL TUTORIALS I FOUND ON THE INTERNET:

    • How to manually uncheck the option for a particular wi-fi network not to connect automatically in Network Properties. This is not what I am looking for. This would suggest that everytime I power my computer. I would have to manually go through all the available wi-fi networks and unclick them all...
    • How to disable Wi-Fi Sense. This is not useful, because I don't even have a Wi-Fi sense option in my computer where the tutorials say it should be.

    EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

    • I am looking for an option to tell my computer to stop connecting randomly to unknown wi-fi networks like an hyperactive, reckless idiot.

    PERSONAL COMMENT:

    • Honestly, why would any respectable company think that it could be somewhat wise or secure to do this... Anyone's computer could just randomly connect to any hacker's wi-fi network without the user even knowing it...

    Any solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
