Windows 10: My pc has preinstalled window 10 still it is showing volume license

Hi ,My pc comes with preinstalled window after reinstalling window it is showing it is activated by organisation's activation service . When I try to change product key by putting BIOS OEM KEY then it shows this ,What to do please tell.Here is screen shot of my product key ,

Convert/upgrade preinstalled Windows OEM to Volume License

AFAIK it's not necessary to go changing registry entries to upgrade with a VL key.

I assume you have the standard Home edition (not single language etc)

Run ShowKeyPlus and check the activation count of your MAK





If all good, you can try upgrading with the default (generic) Pro key and activate with the MAK.

I have a general question.

Is possible to convert or upgrade preinstalled Windows OEM to Volume License?

I purchased my new laptop with Windows 10 Home. How can I upgrade PRO it with Volume License Key without reinstalling the system and programs? I have legal academic VLSC agreement and keys.

You may NOT legally upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro using the volume licenses. The only organizations that may do this are academic and nonprofit. Commercial and government can only use volume license SKUs to upgrade from previous business class (Pro, enterprise, etc...) operating systems.

But how? When I do Change product key, system say that is not valid. I am sure that is valid.

I have filled my system configuration in my profile, if necessary.
