Windows 10: My PC has some problems with ethernet but the cable is ok. I think it's software related

Hello.I rebuild my setup to do some cable management and after pluging everything back in, the internet didn't work. I first tought that the problem is a bad ethernet cable but after testing another one the problem repeated. I tested both cables with my laptop and they worked IMMEDIATELY remember that. After some more testing I figured out that after some time 2-10 min internet started to work but with a lack of speed 10 instead of 200 Mbps download and 10 instead of 30 Mbps upload. On laptop it achieved expected/normal speeds. Windows showes me that my internet is 10/10 Mbps. I have alr

I rebuild my setup to do some cable management and after pluging everything back in, the internet didn't work. I first tought that the problem is a bad ethernet cable but after testing another one the problem repeated. I tested both cables with my laptop and they worked IMMEDIATELY (remember that). After some more testing I figured out that after some time (2-10 min) internet started to work (so It takes 2-10 minutes for PC to even show that a cable is plugged in) but with a lack of speed (9.45 instead of 200 Mbps download and 9.45 instead of 30 Mbps upload. For some reason it is always 9.45Mbps ± 0,05Mbps also the speed I read some time ago was 195/30 and I have 200/30 internetni paket to my house) On laptop it achieved expected/normal speeds. Windows showes me that my internet is 10/10 Mbps. I have already did some stuf with CMD, already checked all the driver settings (green ethernet, power saving mode, ect.) Also the speed is set to 1Gbps (motherboard max speed) I am using Cat 6 cable. Also it is not the port becouse I have put another 1Gbps ethernet card in to PCIe slot and on that card there were the same problems.

One more thing. I found out that for some reason when I play a game Sea of Thieves randomly after some time my computer cuts out ethernet completly and after a minut or two reconnects back. I tried Valorant but it worked fine.

Ethernet cable not working.

You need to solve your problem one step at a time, e.g. like so:

• Connect your CAT5 cable directly to your router. If it does not work, replace the cable.
• Connect the cable to your TP-Link wall plug. If it does not work, reconfigure or replace the wall plug.

 

Ethernet Cable Not Working

My ethernet cable is not working even when plugged in. It works fine with other laptops but not with mine.

I'm fairly sure this has something to do with something installed or some software related issue. Because my ethernet worked (but static) when I uninstalled all my network driver and proceeded to restart but it suddenly went gone again.

So here is the list of things I already done:

• Network reset thru the Settings Menu
  
• Network reset thru the CMD (netsh winsock, ipconfig /, etc.)
  
• Troubleshoot settings
  
• Reset my laptop thru "Reset this PC"
  
• Check for Windows Update
  
• Use the "MyAsus" app to check for any error
  
• Unchecked everything in the msconfig (excluding MS Services ofc)
  

My wifi works fine. But I play FPS games, so I rely heavily on stability and speed of ethernet cables.

Any help?
