Windows 10: My PC is completely black except for the taskbar I can't use

Hello i recently came back from a friend's house and saw an error that said sihost.exe-system warning and now i can't do anything because when ever i hover over the task bar it just shows the waiting sign so anyone. Ive also tried to restart in safemode whenever i do it stops around 25 and says undoing changes when i and then it says " there was a problem resetting your pc po changes were made" anyone know how fix it?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Taskbar Issue with Multiple Monitors

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
• Check if the option for Lock the Taskbar and Auto-hide the taskbar
  are ticked.
• If they are ticked then uncheck the option for Auto-hide the taskbar.

Also, suggest you to update the Display driver by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

Black Screen Isuue in Window 10

I would appreciate you for trying troubleshooting steps.

To understand the issue better, I request you to answer few questions:

• Does black screen appear when you before user login’s or after user has logged in ?
  
• Does black screen appears when you lock your pc?

This problem occurs because of a change in the behavior of Win Logon and Logon UI. This change introduces the potential for the deadlock.

I would also suggest you to install all the updates available for the system and check if it helps.

Follow the Below steps:

• Type settings in the Search area on the taskbar and select Settings
• Select Update and Security.
• Click on Windows Update and select Check for Updates
