Windows 10: My PC is in a loop of ' Preparing Automatic Prepair -> Diagnosing Your PC -> Fixing C:...

What do? It is important to note that I already tried doing the thing where you turn your PC off two times and that brings up a prompt that lets you troubleshoot, but it I couldn't get the screen for whatever reason and I couldn't skip disk checking whenever I had the option to. Like, I pressed every key and none worked. Is there a solution to this problem? If this is any help for a potential answerer this is the FIRST thing I see at startup.

same symptom after all 4 above [d: is my C:/] IN ALL ABOVE

This Symptom came from an update:
Today in the morning I turn ON PC, I was offline[no cable ethernet], and while working prompt for an update[while was dis-connected], after this connected - checked some Gmail, etc. and after 30-min press UPDATE & RESTART,
And got this problem above on startup... loop...

the 1st command is d:/ [d: is Boot disk C: DRIVE]

subsequent commands have to put c: even initially insert d: ... chkdsk d: /f /r ?

even my c: disk is GPT... and Not MBR..?

hello I have an aspire one acer, and it is stuck in Prepairing automatic repair then goes blank Then jumps to Diagnosing your pc, I was wondering if any body knows how to fix this, its in a loop and I just cant seem to get it off there

You can do two things, first you can just rename the intelpep.sys to intelpep.sys.bak and reboot your system to see Windows 10 boots normally.You can also try copying intelpep.sys file from WinSxS folder to C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder.

Because I have two folders if both have the referred file, which folder to choose/copy the file from?
