Windows 10: My PC is not detecting my headset or its mic, but still plays sound through it

I've been trying to connect my headset microphone to my pc for multiple weeks now, and it simply will not be detected by the PC itself. I tried connecting it in every port that I could, but nothing worked. Whenever I went to Control Panel to try and see if it was there, the only thing that showed up was my very old mic that wasn't even plugged in. I am just at a complete loss of what to do, and whenever I ask this question anywhere else I get the same answer every time: "Go to Control Panel, turn the mic on." It's quite frustrating and I hope I receive an answer at some point.

Laptop won't detect built-in mic on headsets/earbuds

I'm running Windows 10 home on a Lenovo Ideapad laptop, and it doesn't detect the mic on any of my headsets/earbuds. I can hear playback fine on my headsets/earbuds, but it can't speak through them, since it insists on using the laptop's internal mic. This results in my typing/mouse clicks all being captured on audio.

• In sound properties recording tab, I just see "microphone (Realtek high def audio)" and "stereo mix (Realtek high def audio)"
  
• In sound properties playback tab, I just see "speakers (Realtek high def audio)", yet I hear audio fine on my headsets/earbuds?
  
• In device manager, it doesn't detect a headset either, displays the same list as the recording tab

So do all 3 of my headsets/earbuds have some kind of "plug and play but stays invisible to the OS" feature? One of them is the default Apple earbuds, I'm 100% sure there's a mic on there and these are brand new, so they aren't broken. Are these not supposed to appear as a "headset" device with the headset icon in sound properties?

 

HeadSet and mic not being detected in sound

So when I plug in my gaming headset with a mic into the jack (the jack is mic and headset together) on my windows 11 computer and it does not detect the mic or the headset in Sounds. So now when I plug it in, I can only use the speakers from the computer and the mic in my computer. I tried to update the Realtek driver but now it seems like the mic in the computer is extremely low sensitivity when its set up to 100%.

 

Headset mic plays internal pc sounds

I might have been deafening everyone I play with on discord w/o know until a friend told me today. The mic just transmits the game audio, video audio, music audio that I run into it and it sounds horrible, not even quality transmission whenn I called myself from another computer to check.

I googled around and saw some people having the same problems 1-6 years back, but either the fixes doesn't apply to my system or it doesn't work.
-I do have the latest Realtek audio driver downloaded since I built my PC 3 weeks ago.
-People said to go into mic settings for noise cancellation (VoizReal Exp tab) and muting stereo mix tab, but I do not have any of those settings.
-microphone-Properties-"Advanced" tab-"Exclusive Mode" Section-"Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" is disabled, I have this setting but it did not matter if it was on or off.

-My PC case has separated audio and mic, so I also bought an adapter for my headset if that matters, since my headset works on my MacBook air perfectly with audio+mic jack all in one.
