    My PC is not detecting that why headset is plugged in, how to I fix this.


    I have Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro wireless. When I plug my headset into my PC and my Razer Laptop I get no nothing. No new popup, no new output/input devices and no driver. I've used the headset on both my PC and laptop before but now all the sudden it isn't working.

    Sound control panel issues (headset detection)

    Just built a pc for my step daughter. Audio works fine when outputted to a display with speakers built in with no problems. But when attempting to use the speaker and headphone ports (either front panel, or directly from mobo in the back), the computer does not detect them (doesnt detect the headphone speakers, microphone seems to be detected but will not register any input to the microphone).

    It doesn't just seem to not detect them though, its detection is completely backwards. When I look in the sound control panel without any headphones plugged in, windows seems to think there are speakers (aside from the display with speakers built in)? And as soon as I plug in the headphones, It switches to saying disconnected. I have tried reinstalling audio drivers to no avail (tried different revisions of realtek audio drivers, from realtek website and from motherboard manufacturers website). I am absolutely stumped. I know the headset works, it works fine on my pc and my daughters nintendo switch.

    Here is a video of the sound control panel and its behaviour when plugging in the headset. Behaves the same whether i use front panel or back.

    PC Headset not being detected?!

    How is the headset connected to your PC? Is it via the USB port? For us to isolate this problem, we suggest that you follow the troubleshooting steps to

    Fix sound problems    .

    Headset not detected by pc

    My headset has a mic jack, speaker jack and a usb. But after plugging them all in to my pc still my headset is not detected. When I open up the audio control panel nothing shows up, and when I open voice recorder it says please connect a microphone
