    My PC is recognizing my keyboard as a ,,USB input device,,.


    Im with windows 10 PCHad to clean my keyboard and when i went to plug it back in it didnt work as usualMy keyboard has RGB lights that turn on when its working and the first red flag was they wouldnt turn onI tried typing w it and it simply wasnt workingI went to check if its even being recognised by the PC and it was simply recognised as ,,USB input device,, and it wont workI tried multiple thing i saw online like restarting the PC Deleting the driver then reinstalling them etcNothing will work

    USB sound/midi device not recognized

    I have a Technics PR804 keyboard attached to my Windows 10 laptop through USB. I've installed the drivers that came with my keyboard by entering compatibility mode to Windows ME, but the device manager won't recognize the hardware when it's turned on and
    plugged into my laptop. I've seen instructions online indicating that device manager should identify the keyboard as a sound device, and that I should be able to choose folder location for correct driver, but can't complete this step as device manager does
    not list the keyboard as an available device.

    Any suggestions?

    Some USB Devices not recognized in Windows 10

    Hi have Windows 10 Pro insider preview 10532 64bit Pro Intel i7 desktop PC.

    I have multiple USB devices connected, USB 3 & 2. The USB HDD is working however my Samsung phone and kindle are no longer being recognized. The steps followed so far:

    • Uninstalled all USB devices in device manager including controllers
    • Flashed BIOS to latest version
    • Updated USB drivers for the devices from manufacturers sites
    • Tried new USB cables

    Please note: both devices are recognized by my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop.

    I really don't want to fresh install, please suggest any diagnostics I can try.

    My PC is recognizing my keyboard as a ,,USB input device,,.

    USB Keyboard is an Older USB Device and Might Not work With USB 3.0

    I currently have an external USB Keyboard displayed under Other Devices as a USB Input Devices which displayed on troubleshooting, as an "older USB device and might not work with USB 3.0, and to plug the device into an available USB 2.0 port".

    The external keyboard in question was working fine yesterday. This morning, the keyboard stopped responding as a keyboard device (both in Device Manager of Control Panel and in Bluetooth and Other Devices of the Settings).

    Please note the USB cable [for the keyboard] itself is working, but only to the extent
    it is recognized as a USB Input Device under Bluetooth and Other Devices. Also, under Device Manager, there is no keyboard drivers listed.
