    My PC is running really slow, what can I do to make it better?


    I have a fairly new PC.Device name Pooter Processor AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor 4.50 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB 31.2 GB usable Device IDProduct ID System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display Edition Windows 11 Home Version 24H2 Installed on ‎3/‎31/‎2025 OS build 26100.3775 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.66.0 Recently it has been running so slow it is almost unusable.     Help with a really, really slow pc please.

    hey,

    I managed to follow each step in each article but it worked for some short time but when I started my daily work, the pc went back to being very slow again. What should I really do now? Can you maybe be advise me on downgrading to a much better OS that is probably suitable for this old pc. What do you think?

    Windows 10 runs really slow on my PC.

    Windows 10 runs really slow on my PC I have a Presario CQ56 with 4 gig ram. It should run faster acording to what I've read.

    PC slow and not responding

    Hi,

    To assist you with your concern, we suggest you to run the System Maintenance Troubleshooter to check and see why your PC is running slow and unresponsive. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting. If you cant find the option, click View By and select Large Icons.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
