Windows 10: My pc is showing the start up repair screen : and says my password is wrong

I was going to start up my computer and it brought me to this start up repair screen. when I try to do anything like restart my pc in trouble shooting it brings me to a page with my account on it. So I click it and it asks me to type in my password so I do and it says it’s wrong. So I try to sign in on my friends lap top and it works so I’m stuck and can’t use my computer. So close to buying a new HDD but I’d like to keep my stuff if I could do what should I do I can’t try to fix it because it says my password is wrong when it’s right.

Step1: The PC has already been disconnected from the Internet.

Setps 2-3: I did not understand
why use the keyboard on the screen,
however, now I have tried in this way.
Before giving Enter, I also check
that the password has been entered correctly.

Set to skip username/password but log-in screen says password is wrong

I used to be able to skip the log-in process on my Windows 10 machine but recently it started saying that my password is incorrect and refusing to skip the log-in. I then have to enter my PIN or password. I have confirmed that "users must enter a username and password to use this computer" is unchecked.
