    I recently experienced stuttering in my PC, today it was really bad. it took me a whole minute just to open task manager and there it was-99% RAM usage. I know my PC is quite old, but it wouldn't be that big of a problem. I saw that my highest RAM using app was Opera GX, using only 73MB. When i added all my apps's RAM usage it was around 1GB total, but I'm using 12GB of RAM. Sometimes when I open another app it either loads really slow, or the whole PC freezes and i have to restart it. Please help

    1* - You have 2 RAM of 4GB

    2* - Task Manager shows you have 8GB

    3* - 3.8GB(in use) + 3.8GB(cached) + 0.624MB(Hardware Reserved) + 0.230MB(Pool) = 8GB(approx. more)

    Note:

    • 1GB = 1024MB
    • It seems you have more than 8GB RAM
    • You might be using any RAM Boost Software

    Task Manager indicates 99-100% disc usage

    Hello,

    I have an Asus Aspire laptop running 64bit Windows 10

    I've noticed that at start up and intermitently during usage the pc slows down and most programs become unresponsive. The Task Manager indicates that the disc usage is at 99-100%. But as per the inserted image the values for the disc usageof active processes
    doesnt add up to anywhere near 100%

    Can anyone suggest a cause and solution?
