Windows 10: my pc is using up a lot of storage

Discus and support my pc is using up a lot of storage in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; in my files it says that there is 55gb free of 219 but when I go into the C drive and right click on every folder there is literally not enough space...     in my files it says that there is 55gb free of 219 but when I go into the C drive and right click on every folder there is literally not enough space being taken up to add up to 55gb free of 219.can you please help me

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

    to connect the external drive to your new PC. Also, can you tell us what troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to perform a diagnostic process on your system that will check and fix issues related to Storage Spaces. To do this, please follow the steps below:

    • Type troubleshooting in the Search bar, then press
      Enter.
    • Click View all from the left pane.
    • Locate and click Hardware and Devices to run the troubleshooter then follow the next steps.
