Windows 10: My PC keeps detecting 3D TV in Windows 10

Hi,


I've got a really annoying problem that I am struggling to fix.


I connect my PC via HDMI to my Panasonic TV which has a 3d mode. I dont want the PC to display 3D but id made the mistake when i was playing around in settings of clicking the 3D display toggle. This had the effect of making the TV screen go black.


How do I stop the PC keep trying to autodetect the 3D TV. I've tried to turn off the 3D and there does not seen to be any option to disable. In TV mode it works normally in a non 3D way.


I tried to connect a computer monitor but because its just a standard monitor there is no option, to disable 3D toggle, so when I plug the PC back into the TV it keeps thinking I want 3D mode, and stays in a black screen. This also means i cant boot into safe mode to disable the setting this way.


Im sure there is an easy way to fix this but I must be missing it. Any help would be appreciated.

PC HDMI TO Edison 3D TV

ok, I didn't have an issue with this before. I connect my pc (Acer Windows 10) to a 3D Edison TV so I can watch 2D and 3D content on my TV from my PC. Just recently my TV is saying "No Signal". Generally it will pick up Edison 3D the same as you connected
your PC to a 3D TV. I have Intel HD Graphics. It's really odd because the HDMI has always received a signal to the TV (Even through Edison. Please, help me find a way for the TV to pick up the PC signal through HDMI again.

3D Builder keeps closing

I suggest you to run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.
• Click on ‘View All’ on the top left pane.
• Click on “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.

programs not detected by "3d Detection"

I cant seem to get some of my 3d programs to be properly detected by 3d Detection.
a couple oldies but goodies, and yes, I do still play them.

UnrealTournament engine games
Halflife engine games

I suppose when I dust them off I could just manually load a profile, but it is much easier to just have proper 3d detection. I noticed an exception list, is there any way to create a list of applications that if detected running, atitool switches to your 3d profile?

I've tried 0.23 and 0.24b1 no success.
Using 5.2 Catalyst drivers.
3d detection verified operational by doom3, HL2, 3dmark2001,2003, aquamark and a few more.
