Windows 10: My PC keeps enabling Enhance Pointer Precision in mouse settings every time i start my PC

Hi,I have win11 pro and deactivate Enhance Pointer Precision in my mouse settings, then click apply. It stays off for the rest of the session. However, everytime I start the computer it is activated again.First I thought it was Logitech ghub software causing the problem, so I deactivatet the software on autostart. But Enhance Pointer Precision still activates itself everytime i start my PC. I'm totally clueless on what to do, but one thing is for sure and that is that it's driving me crazy.I have a Logitech G pro wireless mouse, if that helps.I also went to settings > account > and untic

Enhance Pointer Precision keeps getting Cleared

"Enhance pointer precision" keeps getting un-checked. What background apps might be clearing this setting? This gets cleared within a couple of hours of setting it. I don't even have to re-boot for it to be cleared.

[To get to Enhance pointer precision, Go to "Mouse Settings" > "Additional mouse settings" > (Mouse Properties) > "Pointer Options" > "Motion" > "Enhance pointer precision" check! Apply & Okay.]

 

Enhance pointer precision feels inverted

Hello. This issue began last year out of nowhere (I guess I installed something). Due to my PC being old and soon I'll replace it, I currently use Windows 7 64 bit. Issue started last year around April. I usually keep Enhance pointer precision OFF and it felt consistent. However, since April last year something felt off. So I went back to mouse settings in Control Panel and when I turned ON Enhance pointer precision, my cursor slowed down. But when I turn it OFF, it speeds up. It feels like my mouse settings are inverted. I hope someone can give me some tips or some help. I scanned my PC with an antivirus, but nothing was found. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot.

2) Go over Windows 11 with this Performance Checklist to try to find and fix problems:

If you know when this started do Step 1 for System Restore to before that point.

Do Step 2 for all the driver manipulations on mouse driver including Update Driver > Automatically, Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick to try all previous drivers queued there, Unisntall Driver restart PC using keyboard to reinstall driver. Then update all other drivers, especially chipset and BIOS.

Do Step 3 to expedite all WIndows Updates from Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates . Install all including Optional, watch for prompt for Restart, then go back to check again until no more are offered.

Then Step 5 to establish a Clean Boot, and the rest of the steps to check for infection, test for account corruption, clean up any infection and find and fix any broken System files.
