Windows 10: My PC keeps getting remotely accessed no matter what security measure i put into place.

You guys really dropped the ball on the new update ive sent over 20 support t ickets not one response. We have got to get something better than this garbage.My services are being stopped and started then they will be blocked so i cant restart them, this update is a complete disaster.

Remote Access

1. Follow these steps to disallow remote access to your PC completely:
2. 1. Type “remote settings” into the Cortana search box. Select “Allow remote access to your computer”. This may seem counter-intuitive, but this opens the Control panel
   dialog for Remote System Properties.
3. 2. Check “Don't Allow Remote Connections” to this Computer. You've now disabled remote access to your computer.

Try these two steps and tell us if your issue gets solved. If it does not then your PC may be infected. Use a Good antivirus to remove the infection from your device completely.

Did you allow those Tech Support scammers to have Remote Access to your PC, they would have asked you to allow that?

Once you have turned off Remote Access, they can no longer access your PC.

Open Control Panel - Programs and Features, order that list by Date Installed

Check for any software installed on that date, like TeamViewer or LogMeIn, if you find any remoting application like those, uninstall it

Other than that, you have taken all the right steps and your PC will be fine, you do not need to worry about this further . .

 

Can not access a laptop via Remote Desktop Connectioin

My laptop is not accessible via Remote Desktop connection while returning error on as "Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons: 1) Remote Access to the server is not enabled, 2) The remote computer is turned off, 3) The
Remote computer is not available on the network"

The system specs: Asus X540S with Intel 4Core 3710, Windows 10 Pro (upgraded from pre-installed Win 10 Home)

Accessing the PC remotely over the internet with it's IP address.

Measures already taken:

• Re-installation of upgraded Win 10 Pro - in clean mode
• Ensured: RDC correct settings, firewall exception / disabling the firewall entirely, registry settings, Terminal Service is running
• Tried: Changing Internet Service provider (LAN, Airtel Dongle, etc.) on host and client PC with different combination
• Full scan with Norton security, without finding of any threat
• Testing on new Windows User profile
