Windows 10: My pc keeps on crashing on a certain game

About a month ago I've been randomly experiencing issues with my pc only while playing valorant. At random times while playing, my pc would reboot, bluescreen, or just close the game out. I viewed one of the crash report and it says it's a bugcheck 0x0000001e 0xffffffff80000003, 0xfffff803adc4fbdf, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff803ae83d1c0. Another crash report was for a bugcheck as well 0x00000050 0xffffb6838d87eab8, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff80634fb0dee, 0x0000000000000002 I have an Intel Core i7 11700 processor, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. Crashing with certain games

I have the identical issue as OP despite different hardware. Certain games crash within a few minutes while others are fine. Games that crash include Guardians of the Galaxy and Assassins Creed Origins.

I'm using a AORUS GeForce RTX™ 3080 XTREME 10G (rev. 2.0) and the Event Viewer message is identical, except instead of Device\Video3 is says Device\Video9.

I'm using 516.40 drivers and have already done a DDU. My next step is another DDU followed by year old drivers (466.47) listed on the AORUS GeForce RTX™ 3080 XTREME 10G (rev. 2.0) website. I don't see any VBIOS for the rev 2.0 version of the card.

I can provide DXDIAG, MSCONFIG, or anything you think could help to diagnose this.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Crashing when playing certain games.

Just going through things step by step to make sure I've done them all.
Entered powercfg -h off, but there wasn't any confirmation etc so unsure if this worked.

Other conversations led me to believe that it was a RAM issue, so I have since upgraded my RAM but the issues persist. I've also tried changing ram slots, loading only one ram stick etc as suggested in previous posts.

At the time I had not been overclocking, but the problem persists whether I'm overclocked or not - so currently running with A-XMP profile 1 enabled (msi b450 gaming plus max mobo). I also currently have "precision boost overdrive" enabled, but didn't at the time of crashes.

My main issue now is severe stuttering in games (not the game alone, but the entire pc itself freezes for a split second.) If this is no longer a suitable forum for my topic please let me know and I can move it!
