    My pc keeps randomly either black screening, freezing, or restarting.


    This will occur at any time that the pc is on, but the longer I leave the pc untouched the more likely it is that it will do one of those things when I get back on it. It is a brand new pc I just recently got, with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900x and an RTX 4070Ti. I don't know why it is doing this. I have already sent it to bestbuy to see what they could do and they didn't find anything. I have tried updating game drivers and it didn't do anything. My control panel problem details has multiple reports telling me that windows stopped working followed by windows wasn't shut down properly. The ones saying

    Black Screen and Keyboard freezes randomly

    Dear Customer Support,

    I have endured with the black screen problem for 3 months and now my keyboard freezes randomly,
    after Windows 10 update.

    1. After the October update, the "restart" windows option always restart with a black screen. I have to press the power button twice to bring up the log in screen. If I do a "shut down" option and restart the PC the login screen is displayed without problem. Can anyone help me?
    2. After the November update my keyboard freezes randomly. I have tried uninstalled the driver or enable keyboard filter and some other methods found in google but still the problem exist. I have to shut down and reboot to have the keyboard working again.
    Very frustrating and not knowing how I can solve the problems. Please help.

    Computer randomly has black screen and restarts

    Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

    This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

    ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.

    Troubleshooting I have done:

    • Memory test was ok
    • Reinstall windows 10
