Windows 10: My PC Keeps spiking whenever i start downloads?

Hello, Ive recently had this problem where when I start downloading files or games I start getting spikes. Not only that when im in call on discord with my friends I also spike up to 5000ms when i start downloading stuff and sometimes it just happens randomly. Ill see that my downloads will start saying like 10 minutes left then eventually they end up to 20-40 days left to download which is ridiculous. I tried flushing my DNS it didnt work, I reset my wifi same thing, and I ran a network diagnostic and it found nothing. This is making it very hard to use my computer because I use it to "work"

New here and seeking for help: problems with graphic card

Thanks very much lilhasselhoffer. I'll start doing what you suggested step by step.

One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.

 

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??
