Windows 10: My PC less than a year old and Cannot upgrade to Windows 11... Help...

Hi community.My HP PC is less than a year old and was told by the store I bought it from that it would accept Windows 11 when it was released. And the pc health app states my processor isn't compatible with Win 11. What can I do? is there a way to get it to work? Will Microsoft add my processor to be compatible? Picture attached.

Upgrade 3+ year old 8.1 PC never started

• I have new 64bit win 8.1 PC in box. 3+ years old. Never turned on.
• I plan on upgrading to win 10. It has plenty of power and memory
• I have a few questions regarding upgrade path:

1. Start and do all win 8.1 updates first OR do win 10 upgrade as is?
2. I assume I should do all hardware upgrades like bios, graphics card, and anything else Dell will "say" needs updating when I go to original config section on their site. Is that a correct assumption?
3. Is there anything else I should consider?
4. Whichever choice of upgrade path I take should I, or can I, do it in safe mode since I will not have configured any security software?
   • If yes to safe mode is there anything special I need to do regarding network connection when choosing safe mode?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (& Upgrade!)

Dear Santa,

I want to upgrade my primary PC this year, my MB/CPU is almost 5 years old now, and I've got the upgrade itch.

It's going to be built around an unlocked Ivy Bridge CPU, namely the 3770k

But first, I've got a few questions for you:

• What chipsets support that CPU? I think the X79 and X77?
• Is the 3770k going to be replaced with a better model, better stepping, etc in 2012 or early 2013?

Oh and is the world going to end in Dec 2012?
