    my pc lights up but does not connect to display.


    Hi all, I recently got a pc and it turns on, but nothing connects to the display. my keyboards and mice don’t light up, and the motherboard lights turn on, and then turn off after 5 seconds. The gpu fans spin, but then stop again after 5 seconds. Someone please help as i need to use it asap.

    Night Light Setting and Third Monitor.

    Hi Reagan,

    We would like to ask you some questions in order assist you properly:

    • Did Night light work previously on all three monitors?
    • Have you made any recent changes to your PC?
    • Are you getting an error message on the third monitor regarding Night light?
    • Is the third monitor being detected by your PC?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you performed so far?

    While waiting for your response, we suggest that you try to connect your third monitor to what you are using on the 2 working monitors to see if it is only a loose connection issue.

    I realize the inconvenience you are facing.; Let me help you in resolving the issue.

    This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated display adapter drivers after upgrading to Windows 10. Try the below and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Uninstall the Wireless Display Driver.

    • Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter.
    • Right on the Display Adapter and click on
      Uninstall.
    • Restart the computer.

    Step 2: Update
    Wireless Display Driver.

    • Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter.
    • Right on the Display Adapter and click on
      Update driver software.

    I would request you to refer to suggestions provided in the article below and check.

    Microsoft Display Adapter not getting connected to PC

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your response.

    I would suggest that you follow the steps below and check if you can find the adapter in Device Manager.

    1. Right click on the Start Menu and then click on Device Manager.

    2. From the list of Hardware, find the Microsoft Display Adapter and check if you can find the device in question.

    I would also suggest that you follow the troubleshooting steps provided in the first link and check if it helps.
