Windows 10: My pc loses its bluetooth after being connected to my Echo Dot.

Hello, I'm having an issue with my pc when its connected to my echo dotI've had one for a bout a week. I've been using it as a speaker and it works normally. However, I also have headphones that are not bluetooth. This is the step by step of the problem that I have:- I connect the echo to the pc's sound system through bluetooth. - For some reason I need to use my headphones for a while. I connect my sound through my headphones not bluetooth- Later, I can go back to the Echo dot as my speaker. I disconnect my headphones andtry to use my echo for the sound again- Echo seems to be connected,

As per your description, I understand that there is no sound in your PC as it shows that it is currently connected to a Bluetooth device which you do not recognize.

• Select Start > Settings > Devices >
  Bluetooth.
• Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to remove > Remove device >

Amazon Echo

I want to use the Echo as my primary speakers. I had it connected after reinstalling the bluetooth devices, but after restarting the computer this morning, the sound is not working. I see the Echo listed as a speaker, but I cannot click the speaker as
an option.

Pair a Windows PC with an Echo:

1. Log in to your Alexa account by going to alexa.amazon.com.

2. Select Settings in the left pane.

3. Choose your Echo in the list of devices.

4. Select Bluetooth

5. Select Pair a New Device; Alexa will search for available devices.

6. Go to your computer’s Search box, which may be in the Start menu.

7. Type Bluetooth and go to the Bluetooth Settings in System Settings.

8. Make sure Bluetooth is on and your computer is discoverable.

9. Select Add Bluetooth or Other Device; choose Bluetooth under Device Type.

10. Select your Echo in the list of devices and select Done. Your computer is now connected to your Echo as a speaker.
