Windows 10: My PC only shows my network as "Hidden Network" and won't connect, what can I do?

So my home PC runs Windows 10 Pro 22H2 and only show's the Wifi as "Hidden Network". I've tried to connect by putting in the SSID and security key but it still says "can't connect to this network". I have tried the following.-Troubleshooting-CMD commandsrefreshing and resetting network-Network Reset in the settings-following the entire "Troubleshooting network problems in Windows" when searching Microsoft's support-Updating Drivers-Updating Windows-Contacting or lack there of Microsoft SupportWhen I contacted support they said the product ID was business so I had to somehow contact the bus

Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

W10H cannot connect to hidden network

nope running 380.62 didn't knew there were a 380.63 I will update later properly

yeh when the network is visible it connects just fine.

 

Wifi Network Not Showing Up, Hidden Network in it's place?

Hey Doug, thank you for your response.

After troubleshooting the internet connection it says that there are "no preferred wireless networks-Not fixed" and that "a network cable is not properly plugged or may be broken (detected)". I'm not sure about the first problem, but the network adaptor is new and working fine at detecting other networks.

After troubleshooting the network adapter it gives the same results, except both are labeled "Not fixed" this time.

On the Command Prompt screen I followed everything through however for the ipconfig /renew and ipconfig /release commands, it states that "No operation can be performed on Ethernet/Wifi while it has its media disconnected"

I went through with the steps anyways and after I restarted my PC, my home wifi network still isn't showing up on the list of available networks and is remaining a hidden network and after running the troubleshooting prompts again, it still says the same results.

I also went through everything again while connected to my phone hotspot and the network is still hidden, but this time the troubleshooting wasn't able to find anything wrong with the network adapter/internet connection. I also reinstalled the drivers again.
