Windows 10: My pc recently has been crashing and I don't know why

I'm not a very tech savvy person so I'm a bit worried about the state of my pc but sometimes mid game my pc will just go to black and the fans will ramp up to max speed. Today in particular when this happened the screen only displayed a few lines of pixels and wouldn't let me into the pc. This was then fixed by me shutting the computer on and off a couple times. My only concern is that it will worsen and my pc might break or something. Does anyone have any idea what is happening?

I just bought a Samsung Focus AT&T Rev.1.3. It comes with OS version 7629. I don´t know wich version is that, NoDO? Mango? Third Pary apps just crash after I open them, help!

Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?
