    My PC restarts randomly after going black. Audio stays but computer unresponsive and restarts


    My PC just randomly went black and restarted on me. I checked my Event Viewer and it says it was caused by a bugcheck or something of that nature.GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 SuperCPU: Intel Core i7 9700kRAM: 16GB RamMotherboard: MSI Z390-A Pro

    Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

    This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

    ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.

    New PC randomly restarting, Event 41 Kernel Power

    Created an account to post my fix.

    I found a common cause of this is multiple audio drivers attempting to run at the same time. I had three.
    • one USB sound card
    • One realtek chip on my motherboard
    • One nvidia sound chip on my graphics card.
    Go to device manager and disable the ones you don't use and restart PC. Let me know if it works.

    Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
    E220@2.406hz
    2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
    Windows xp

    Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused My PC restarts randomly after going black.     One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

    Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?
