Windows 10: My PC shows a stable internet connection, but nothing will load still

I've actually already made a post on this and closed it thinking it was fixed. Well that wasn't the case...This issue started a few days ago. My PC is connected to the internet via ethernet which goes to a Wifi extender in my room. My PC doesn't have WiFi capabilities and I can't hook directly to the router as it's too far away, but this is the next best thing and it's worked well for me up until this point. So basically my PC shows that it's connected to my network and Windows troubleshooter never detects a problem with it. The problem is that nothing on my PC will load except for Google and

When did you last connect normally, and what might have changed since then?

  I was not able to work on this issue yesterday ( busy for a 90 year old). This evening I was able to take the steps that were suggested in your email.
  
  When I use “Device Manager” I click “ Network Adapters” I see “ Wifi” but not Eternet in this list. On the “Settings” I click “Wifi” which shows the “On' button.
  

I click” Show available networks”. I wanted to capture the page that is shown, but it will not show. The top line is Network ( connected) but course I have the Ethernet cable connected. Also showing Is Five “ Broadband connections” At the bottom is
“ Network and Internet settings” I hope for your continued help.
