Windows 10: My PC shutdown got interrupted by a Chinese app I had not installed

I was shutting down my computer as usual and I didn't close all the application as I'll normally do. There were a few apps preventing shutdown and one of them was a Chinese app with a name in Chinese.

I couldn't get a photo of the name as it went by fast

I'm worried if it could be a virus. The computer with this file is the only PC I've got and I can't go from service center to service center due to COVID-19

Can someone help me, and tell me if I should be worried?

P.S. I have a suspicion that it could be an anticheat software of Riot Games, Vanguard. The name could have been Chinese as Riot Games is owned by the Chinese.

Thank you for your response.

• As you have mentioned this happens only in the Admin account, is it local account set as admin account or the Microsoft account?

I would suggest you to check the all apps list and check if that Chinese character app is present.

After you try the above steps and share us the results what happens we can proceed with the further suggestions.

Please post us back with the results after troubleshooting the above steps and check.

My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix

I suggest you to Remove the Chineselanguage and add it again and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

Step 1: Remove the Chinese language.

  Click on the Option adjacent to the
  Chineselanguage.

  Click on remove under input method.
  

Step 2: Add ChineseLanguage.

  Select Control panel.
  
• 
  Select language.
  
• 
  Click on Add language.
  
• 
  Add the Chinese language from the given list.
