Windows 10: My PC Started crashing... again.

Hey all.

So a couples months back my PC was crashing very frequently, almost 10 times a day for about 2 weeks. Im still kind of unsure of what happened back then, but it fixed itself after a couple of weeks trying differents things that didn't quite work out. My PC is new, I got it in January 2019 and never installed anything weird but games from Blizzard/Steam or Riot Games, so no Virus at all.

Now for a couple of months I had a break of crashing, It crashed like twice in 5 months. But today it already crashed twice, and one of the reasons that sound the most comon would be a Windows Update installed automatically, as last time one of the last potential reasons was exactly that and ended up being reported as a comon issue.

My question is the next, has any of you guys' pc been crashing since this morning ? Can be due to a mistake in the system of the new update but that's what im wondering.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

PC Crashing on every game

OK what i am gonna do - i will take second pc from my friend... Will build all my sistem on his MB... And then if it crashes... - will step by step take out my parts and put his - untill i have no crash any more... Damn it sounds stupid and will take like all day :S... Any other ideas how to make effective testing if i have second PC?

Or maybe give it away to disruption? *Big Grin

Yes try it again... lol... we were waiting for that!

You have steps listed....try to find a another pc to try...try to reset the bios and see if that for some reason would help. But yes, try putting it back in. If not, id say rma time.
