Windows 10: My PC started doing weird things

I was done using my computer and I was about to shut it down, but before I shut it down I checked my task manager for any weird perfomance behaviors because I heard my fans spinning fast and I saw my CPU was at 40% usage with 4GHz for no reason on idle. I didn't give it much attention because I thought it was probably because I just closed a game or something like that and that it was fine, so I proceeded shutting off my PC I have closed my PC before while at high usage many times without anything happening. I noticed my PC didn't shut down and was stuck on the "Getting Windows Ready, Don't

Weird BSOD problem


Hi Everyone,

I have a weird BSOD problem which I cannot solve for a while(it persists still after upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7)

The main strange thing about this is that I get BSOD only after cold boot.
So it acts like this:

1. start PC.
2. Get to Windows Logo Screen
3. BSOD
4. Restart
5. Get to menu where I can try to repair or Start NormallyIf I Choose Repair, it will fail to repair and will try to restoreIf I Choose Start Normally, it will start OK, no BSOD, can work normally, games, browse internet, everything is normal.6. Shutdown PC
7. Next time when I start is all over again i.e. Go to Step 1

I have this problem for a while, so what I tried:

1. Another Windows 7
2. Another HDD
3. Only HDD connected
4. Changed RAM
5. Tried with built in GPU
6. Upgraded to Windows 10

Result is the same as above every time.

Please suggest what could be the cause.

Windows 10 Explorer Quick access is doing something weird

Thank you for update and reply.

I suggest you to follow the Step below and check If that helps.

Run SFC scan to check for missing or corrupted system files and then check if you can access apps.

You can follow the steps to do so:

• • Right click on the start button on the screen.
  • Click on “Command prompt (Admin)
  • Type ‘sfc /scannow’ without quotes and hit enter.

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??
