Windows 10: My PC stopped recognizing my earpiece.

Suddenly my PC can't find my earpiece. I noticed that sounds are playing on the speaker after inserting the earpiece even though it was working fine just a day before. I tried the earpiece with my phone and tab and it worked except on my PC

Dvd/cd-rw drive stopped being recognized by win 10

I went into shell admin and entered the command. It stated it had been completed successfully, rebooted and is still not listed in device manager. I tried your other suggestion and there is no "hardware and sound" option, there is only sound offered. Can't
update driver as it does not list drive in device manager. The drive will open and it will spin disc, but will stop as the operating system doesn't recognize the drive. I looked in the drivers folder and it says the drivers were modified on 9/29/17 and that
is when Windows stopped recognizing it.

 

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

Laptop suddenly stopped recognizing the external monitor

To assist you better, I would like to ask if the laptop is unable to recognize only the external monitor or other external devices also.

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
• Click on “Hardware and Devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.
