Windows 10: My PC stops working suddenly and my screen freezes. What can i do to resolve this issue?

My PC would function normally and freeze at the most random of times and there is no minidump file created. However, the event log recorded a fatal hardware error and I am unable to understand what does it mean. Laptop freezes on login screen but works fine in safe mode.

Problem:

I have an HP 15-eq laptop. It suddenly crashed while I was working and now when I try to boot, it reaches the login screen but if move the cursor, the screen freezes and turns black and the laptop stops responding.

Steps taken so far:

1. Startup repair from winRE. It said auto repair was unable to solve the problem.
   
2. HP diagnostics extensive memory test. Result: passed
   
3. Reset while keeping the files. Result: reset was done and all the apps are gone but the problem persists.
   
4. Boot into safe mode. Result: everything seems to be working fine in safe mode, which leads me to believe this is not a RAM or SSD issue, but a software issue. But what type of software issue won't get resolved by a reset?
   
5. Event viewer had only one type of critical event which is event 41 kernel power.
   

OS: Windows 10 build 19044

Kindly help me resolve this issue.

There are a few reasons why "Left Alt + Shift" is suddenly stopped working on your computer. Since you mentioned that you already tried some troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you create a
Test Profile. From there, check if the issue occurs.

To create a user profile, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
• Select Family & other people.
• Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
• Name the user as Test.
• Leave the password field blank.
• Hit Next.
• Sign in as Test user.

Display driver issue and freezing screen

I changed another PSU I had laying around, some Tronie ATX 550W, and managed to play like hour or more without any problems, and just suddenly freeze on screen with sound from the game on loop, had to reset PC. I haven't recieved any display driver has stopped responding issues. Again this kernel power and kernel power processor issue in event log. I was really convinced it won't happen again with this PSU, thought it was problem on chieftec's. It's kinda weird to be motherboard issue, I mean with the previous card I haven't had those freezes, just after I put this other graphic card few days ago, no idea.

I tried Windows 7 aswell, same thing, so no difference there. I guess I might just need brand new PSU not overused one. Could it be hard disk issue?
