Windows 10: My PC Windows 10 Home v1909 suddenly can't recognise any audio format files or video format...

Since yesterday evening my computer has been unable to open audio or video files, wither in Groove player or in Windows Media Player.

I get a error message saying "Choose something else to play. This item is in a format we don't support." with the code 0xc00d36b4

I'm running Windows 10 Home package, version 1909, OS Build 18363.959

I have an external soundcard Focusrite but all the settings are correct and I can listen to audio through Cubase, just not directly from the computer. Also, that wouldn't account for video files also having the same problem.


Any ideas?

IPOD video formats?

i converted one hour movie into .mov using ashampoo movie shrink & burn but it wasn';t copied to ipod..showing ipod doesnt recognised this format while i was trying to copy form itunes library..

ipod doesnt supoort .mov?

which video formats ipod supports?

suggest me best convertor utility to do same.

Indeed, the N70 does not support Microsoft Windows Media Video format files at all.

Try SUPER by eRightsoft, it converts everything to everything. Using it since years. Works also for older phones with 3gp format and the like. And you can extract audio from any video file.
