Windows 10: My Pc wont post after i applied thermal paste to my gpu

I noticed my gpu temperature goes high up 85-90C when playing minecraft I have an electricfan facing my Gou So i figured it was the thermal paste dried out sinve this gpu is very old probably was never repasted. So i ght a thermal paste hours ago and followed a tutorial then soon after it wont post anymore and my monitor would just display " There is mo signal coming from your computer"

Pc wont display anything after applying thermal paste to CPU and GPU and now stuck in bootloop

So today I bought some thermal paste to apply to my Pc. I applied it to booth my CPU and GPU. After that I assembled and put everything back together and turned it on. All was going well until I got no display. I tried to solve the issue. I tried cleaning up any thermal paste I may have smeared on other parts of the GPU but it didnt help. Then I saw something saying to take the battery out of the motherboard for a minute. I did this and tried to start it again. It came on but still no display. Now, not only am I having GPU issues, my Pc is not stuck in a boot loop. The pc comes on for 10-15 seconds and turns off, and keeps repeating this cycle. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

PC Specs:

Motherboard - Asus Prime H310M-A R2.0

CPU - intel core i3 9100F

GPU- Nvidia GTX 1650

RAM - 16GB

• As directed first step,
  Second step I always install, then immediately uninstall, the HSF to remove the excess TIM. Which generally includes thoroughly cleaning either the processor die and/or the HS mating surface. Only both if I really screwed up and put way too much on, but always at least one or the other. Because it's almost impossible, IMO, to not apply too much TIM on your first try. And you can typically get by easily with half the amount(or ~ whatever is still stuck to the processor die or HSF after removing it). Next step I usually apply a few tiny pin point size dabs in any spots that look like they need more. Then final step, I reinstall the HSF, and call it good.

Best thermal paste

Most decent thermal paste is about all the same (1-2 degree difference). Without knowing the two listed, (I use MX-2), I would suggest going with the one that is non-conductive.
